About eMBA

The Programme offers a blend of various general management theories, soft skills and analytical methods with real world business scenario cases. It has 1000+ hours of content delivery (including 900 hours of teaching) spread across six terms which includes online classroom sessions, campus modules, capstone project and mini dissertation. Total content hours of the programme are 1020 hours.

The Program will be of 34 credits spread across 6 terms and a mini term, where 1 credit = 30 hours of classroom contact (equivalent). The whole course is designed to be completed in around 2 years.

This Programme will comprise of:
  • 450 hours of core courses (15 credits)
  • 150 hours of advanced core courses (5 credits)
  • 300 hours of elective course (10 credits) – Covered in term V & VI.
  • 60 hours of Integrated business simulation project focused on application of managerial concepts in real life setting - 2 credits
  • 60 hours of Mini dissertation to be carried out under supervision of a faculty member– 2 credits.

**Note: Total Hours = 900

The 2nd term will have an on-campus component, followed by online classes for remaining terms. At the end of each term, there would be online exams. In the final term (mini-term), there would also be mandatory campus visit.

  • Boarding/lodging is included during campus immersion.
  • It is mandatory to attend both the campus visits.
  • Participants learn and contribute to each other's experiences, discover new perspectives and gain understanding of diverse functions, industries, organisational practices, and paradigms.
  • Fee for a given term need to be paid prior to start off that term.
  • Application Fee of Rupees 2500/- to be paid at the time of registration.
  • Study material will be provided online.

Eligibility Criteria

  • As On 30th September 2024, minimum 25 years of age and 3 years of post qualification experience.
  • Minimum Bachelor's level or equivalent with 50% overall at degree level.
  • Minimum requirement as per different categories is given in Table 1.

"Learning never stops" – Working executives with learning agility pick their managerial lessons to encash on the technology enabled growth beyond the chores of the emerging economy. Demands of the industry made us launch the eMBA program tailored to these mid-career executives. At IIM Raipur, we prepare the future managers with a focus of the curriculum on the needs of the contemporary management education by designing and developing the eMBA. Our curriculum focuses on the use of adult-learning pedagogy and has a bias towards using case-study teaching methods and simulated learning using illustrations. In the process, the eMBA participants gain real-insights into management principles, business frameworks, contemporary philosophies, and academic theories, helping them to excel in today’s fast-changing world of business. This 24-months blended learning programme is intensive, involves two-phases of campus-visit as well as online learning engagements to give working executives an opportunity to have a professional rewarding journey in the administrative world.
